The purpose of the Marine Task Force organized by CharIN is to ensure the use of the Combined Charging System (CCS) and Megawatt Charging System (MCS) and identify gaps in standards through industry aligned system-level charging specifications and definitions, implementation guides and best practices, and interoperability product certification.

We strongly encourage the marine industry to work with CharIN’s membership base and other interested parties to create a fully interoperable standard that best serves the needs of the marine industry that will enable a better and faster transition to electrified vessels.

All CharIN members and non-members are eligible to participate.
